The government has set aside $320 million to further extend the foreign worker levy (FWL) rebates to support firms in the Construction, Marine Shipyard and Process sectors. Companies will be continued to be exempted from paying full or part of the foreign worker levy(FWL) until December 2020.

Employer will receive a $750 FWL rebate per S Pass and Work Permit holder for June, and a $375 FWL rebate per S Pass and Work Permit holder for July as part of the Fortitude Budget. The $375 FWL rebate will be extended until September 2020.

Employers who have paid the 50% levies originally due in July will have the amount refunded to them. They will also provide a full FWL waiver for levies due in August and September 2020.

根据人力部发布最新的文告，政府延长建筑业、海事船厂以及加工业的外籍劳工税豁免和回扣期限，并为此拨出3亿2000万新币.企业都可继续免付全额或部分的外籍劳工税直到2020年12月。

雇主每聘用一名S准证或工作准证的员工在6月就可以得到750新币的回扣，7月则得375新币。
375新币的回扣将延长至9月。

政府将会退还已在7月缴纳50%劳工税的雇主！ 政府也将豁免8和9全额的劳工税。
